Jay Shah Biography:Jay Amitbhai Shah (born 22 September 1988)[2] is an Indian cricket administrator and businessman, and the Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since December 2024. He was the President of the Asian Cricket Council, establishing himself as one of the most influential figures in global cricket governance. He is the son of Amit Shah, India’s Minister of Home Affairs. He is the third Indian to become chairman of the International Cricket Council, after N. Srinivasan and Shashank Manohar.

Jay Shah was born on September 22, 1988, a key figure in the world’s cricket government, and currently holds the position of Director General of India’s Cricket Committee (BCCI), Chairman of the Asian Cricket Council and Election Chair of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Jay Shah’s cricket career at BCCI began in 2015 when he joined the Finance and Marketing Committee.

Jay Shah’s participation in the International Cricket Council began in December 2019 when he was elected to represent the BCCI for future CEC conferences.The impact grew and until November 2022 he was elected head of the ICC F&A CA Committee (F&A).Sher was also a decisive member of the ICC Olympic Working Group and campaigned for cricket at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. On December 1, 2024, Shah took over as chairman of the ICC after an unhindered election.
