From 2001 to 2007, Abramson was a process counsel for the public defense attorney in New Hampshire. Abramson became an assistant professor of Communication Arts and Science at the University of New Hampshire in 2015 and was appointed in 2018 at the New Hampshire Art Affiliate Faculty. His apprentices include digital journalism, cultural theory on the internet, letters on the internet, and lawyers. Abramson has written for publications such as the Washington Post, Dallas Morning News, The Seattle Times, Newsweek, Indie Wire, and The Guardian. In 2011, Publisher’s Weekly wrote, “As a blogger and commentator, he documented a huge following, dealing with poetry, politics, and university formation, and produced a controversial ranking of the US news style of graduate programs.”
